Complete ACG Claim Representative Training Program or demonstrate equivalent knowledge or experience

A valid driver's license is required if the primary responsibilities of the role involve conducting in-person inspections or frequent in-person meetings with members.

Five years of experience or equivalent training in the following: negotiation of claim settlements securing and evaluating evidence preparing manual and electronic estimates subrogation claims resolving coverage questions taking statements establishing clear evaluation and resolution plans for claims

Advance knowledge of: Essential Insurance Act (Michigan) Fair Trade Practices Act as it relates to claims Subrogation procedures and processes Intercompany arbitration Handling simple litigation

Advance knowledge of: Negligence Law No-Fault Law No-Fault Reform medical terminology and human anatomy MCCA and attorney represented claims

Work within assigned ACG Claim systems including basic PC software

Day Shift

High School or Technical School Diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of 3 years in quality inspection/machining (final, source and in process inspection) working in a manufacturing environment

Must have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes, and other measuring tools

Ability to apply geometry and trigonometry skills to solve problems and calibrate equipment

Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Able to stand for long periods of time

Ability to use hand tools

In order to be eligible for applicable positions, you must be a US Person under ITAR or eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license.

Associates Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Technology a plus
