Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field; Chemical Engineering degree is also considered.
3 to 6 years of relevant environmental or engineering experience, including exposure to field work and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated experience with environmental field sampling, including soil, groundwater, soil gas, air, and stormwater.
Experience conducting environmental compliance assessments and inspections.
Familiarity with air quality evaluations, vapor mitigation systems, or remediation systems and their operation.
Knowledge of state environmental regulations, including those administered by EGLE.
Strong technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear, detailed, and defensible reports and regulatory submittals.
Solid data analysis capabilities, including interpretation of environmental sampling results and analytical data.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for documentation, analysis, and communication.
Experience using environmental data platforms and tools such as GIS, LogPlot, or comparable software.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to travel to local project sites.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
40-hour HAZWOPER certification required, demonstrating training in hazardous waste operations and emergency response.
