Bachelors degree in Engineering is required.

Minimum of 2 years of post-graduation engineering experience

Understanding of engineering theory and operating principles of mechanical and electrical systems.

Prior hands-on mechanical or electrical troubleshooting and repair experience

Working knowledge of engineering software and systems relevant to electrical and wiring design and release.

Willingness to travel as needed for program and plant support.

Vehicle electrical and wire harness design knowledge with at least 1 year of experience.

Design release and engineering change process mastery, including understanding what it means to release parts and work with program teams.

Awareness of CAD tools and release processes used in automotive product development.

Experience or familiarity with connectors and wiring components used in automotive harnesses.

Ability to support 3D packaging and design analysis with a basic understanding of harness routing and spatial constraints.

Experience as a Design Release Engineer (DRE) or in a closely related engineering role.

Preferably in power signal or wire harness packaging

Relevant personal or hobby automotive experience is valued.

3 days In-office, 2 days remote

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field of study.

Two (2) years of experience as a Maintenance Area Supervisor, Senior Engineer - Trim, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation.

Two (2) years of experience with: Manufacturing Engineering, including Program Iaunch, Execution, and Assembly Plant

Product design compliance with manufacturing requirements and assembly plant processes.

One (1) year of experience with: Systems Manufacturing Engineering processes, including Manufacturing Planning Studies, Value added Assembler, Manufacturing Requirements Data Base, Engineering Changes Database, Issue, Best practice, Manufacturing Requirements databases, Design for Assembly, Process Failure Mode Analysis System and processes; Global Vehicle Development process, Global Launch Process, Problem Resolution Tracking System, and Lean Material Strategies, Bill of Equipment, Bill of process; Development of new vehicle programs including assembly build of process, manufacturing requirements, vehicle systems global strategies and inter-buildability and flexibility requirements; and Vehicle assembly manufacturing plants including product and process designs during early development of new vehicle programs.

Must be able to report to local office.

$31 - $33.65 per hour

High School Diploma or GED.

2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and equipment troubleshooting.

Ability to read electrical schematics.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
