Licensed Senior Civil/Structural Engineer
5+ years of experience within the utility industry working directly for a utility or consulting company, doing design engineering and reviews.
The candidate must have a strong educational background in design of steel structures, concrete structures, geotechnical engineering, and foundations.
Experience reviewing substation structure design, rigid bus design, foundation design, oil spill containment design, retaining walls, masonry control shelters, and firewalls is required.
Site-visits to client substation facilities are expected to be part of the work, along with occasional travel for client meetings and industry-related events.
PE License Required in PA, OH, WV, MD, NJ or the ability to obtain licensure in these states within 3-12 months.
Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & MATHCAD software, required
Experience with RISA 3-D, STAAD.Pro, FAD, SAG10, and LPILE software, required
Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation required
