Associates degree or a minimum of two years of equivalent knowledge/experience in a related field.
Experience with 3D-CAD and 2D-CAD design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPlan.
Knowledge of the National Electric Code and UL requirements.
Ability to select proper components, size starters, breakers, wiring and conduit.
Ability to read electrical ladder diagrams and mechanical drawings.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
Knowledge of PLC's/No Programming Required.
Willingness to travel occasionally and work overtime as needed.
Ability to design for manufacturing.
Ability to assemble and wire in electric motors and work with VFDs and other starts.
Understanding of electrical safety.
Ability to operate multimeters and other test equipment.
