High school diploma or equivalent
One year of previous medical/surgical and/or Operating Room experience.
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required through a nationally accredited educational program, such as National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
Requires prolonged standing, walking, or other constant physical movements on a routine basis
Requires considerable physical effort on an intermittent basis as in lifting, pulling or pushing unwieldy loads (heavy, bulky, awkward, more than 40 lbs.).
Significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
May exert up to 50 lbs. force
