Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a good understanding of operational performance metrics (KPIs) and analysis, and some experience in commercial awareness are required.
Strong technical knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and application methods.
Hands-on experience with coating systems, spray equipment, and material handling.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and coating standards.
Understanding of quality assurance processes, inspection methods, and documentation requirements.
Familiarity with safety standards and environmental regulations related to coatings.
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial coatings
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing, bending, overhead).
Comfortable working in a non climate controlled fabrication shop environment with exposure to heat, cold noise, and fumes.
Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory position.
