Must possess qualifications, skills and experience of former classification.
Proficient in blueprint reading except geometric tolerancing.
Able to assemble complex runners with some direction and assistance from a Fabricator 3.
Able to assemble complex distributor assemblies with some direction and assistance from a Fabricator 3.
Able to assemble complex shaft to runner installations with some direction and assistance from a Fabricator 3.
Able to assemble complex Kaplan turbine assemblies with some direction and assistance from a Fabricator 3.
Able to assemble complex pump assemblies with some direction and assistance from a Fabricator 3.
Able to set up work cells for effective and efficient operations.
Able to perform hot and cold forming operations such as buckets.
Able to generate and implement Lean continuous ideas.
Able to vent check runners and pumps with assistance and direction from Fabricator 3.
Able to operate main cranes and make lifts of components up to 25 tons.
GED or High School diploma required; Training from college or technical school; Three+ (3+) years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Large structural fabrication required
