As this position requires driving Penske and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years.

Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment and education), the ability to pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation, and potential travel within a near geography for training are required

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.

The associate must be able to work safely at heights using applicable ladders and elevated working platforms.

The associate must be able to safely work in all weather conditions.

Given the frequent movement of large trucks through the workplace, the associate must be able to see and hear in order to safely navigate the work environment.

The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg. This position also requires the ability to push/pull truck tires on a regular basis that exceed 100 pounds.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred

Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)

Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review.

FLAT RATE

Estimated $65,000 – $165,000+ per year

Compensation is commensurate with skill, and experience.

Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.

Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.

Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

$18 - $28 per hour based on experience

The knowledge of or technical background to learn the theory of operation, design, and optimization processes for air traffic surveillance and automation products.

The ability to understand customer requirements and develop system-level architectures and integration & test strategies to ensure these requirements are satisfied.

The ability to generate high-quality technical documentation, including architecture documents, test plans and procedures, reports, and white papers.

Computer programming in a high-level language such as Matlab, C/C++, Java, etc.

* A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution; or * Relevant military education & training

Technical/project experience consistent with that of a senior engineer or technical professional (8+ years' experience)

Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
