Technical school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum 2-5 years' experience at test and inspection in a manufacturing or production environment with tight tolerance mechanical components (aerospace/defense preferred).

Experience in quality and source inspection on machined/mechanical components using GD&T;, plus CMM, optical and other mechanical tools/ measuring instruments for inspections.

Experience with Programming CMMs for various mechanical components

Experience in creating Inspection Plans for machined/mechanical components applying knowledge of GD&T; to determine the most accurate, repeatable, and efficient methods of measurement

ISO9001 / AS9100 knowledgeable. Familiar with AQL, sampling methods and traceability.

Strong verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel inside and outside the including but not limited to; vendors, suppliers, customers, etc.

Strong computer literacy, with MS Office/PC expertise, and demonstrated experience with applicable systems, programs, equipment, etc.

Must be a US Citizen

Machinist II

Location: Chaska, MN (On-Site Mon-Friday)

The Machinist position is responsible for the set-up and operation of various types of conventional and CNC machine shop equipment inclusive of, but not limited to, manual lathes, manual mills, CNC machining centers, Cylindrical Grinders, etc. to produce complex, tight tolerance products.

The incumbent must be an individual who can multi-task and perform various machine shop related activities, in a manner that complies with all company requirements with little supervision.

Set-up and operate machine shop equipment in an effective, efficient, safe and consistent manner

Set-up and operate various types of CNC and manual machine shop equipment in an effective, efficient, safe and consistent manner to support customer requirements, with little to no supervision

Read, interpret, and advise about manufacturability on documents (i.e. blueprints/technical drawings, tolerances, GD&T;, operation/tool/set-up sheets, routers, procedures, ECN's, etc.) in an effective manner to produce conforming product on a timely basis

Train and mentor others how to perform machining processes for production products

Perform troubleshooting activities to resolve issues and provide improvement recommendations

Define and perform routine maintenance of equipment.

Overtime and weekend work will be required, as job duties demand.

The employee is regularly required to stand at length (7-8 hours, daily), sit, walk, stoop, bend, turn, balance, and/or crouch, and move about the facility.

The employee may be required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 70 lbs.

This role requires working onsite at our Brooklyn Park, MN office five days a week.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, supply planning, operations analytics, commercial operations, or a related manufacturing environment.

Strong analytical capability with experience translating large datasets into business insights, recommendations, and action plans.

Experience with inventory management concepts including safety stock, min/max, service levels, forecast accuracy, lifecycle planning, SKU segmentation, and excess/obsolete inventory.

Working knowledge of ERP, MRP, forecasting, planning, or inventory optimization systems; experience with Oracle, GAINS, Qlik, Power BI, Excel, or similar tools preferred.

Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, Sales, Finance, Customer Care, and regional teams.

Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to both technical and business audiences.

Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, structure problems, drive follow-up, and influence decisions without direct authority.

Experience in industrial manufacturing, automation, electronics, or distribution-supported business models.

Familiarity with make-to-stock, configure-to-order, build-to-order, and engineer-to-order fulfillment models.

Experience supporting SIOP, product lifecycle management, stocking strategy, distributor inventory programs, or product-family business reviews.

Advanced Excel, data visualization, SQL, Power BI, Qlik, or similar analytics skills.

APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or related supply chain certification preferred.
