Shall have a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience related to transit/transportation safety, safety management, and/or system safety engineering.
Shall have experience supervising employee performance and ensuring contract compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, company, and contractual regulations.
Experience working in transit, preferably in an urban public.
College Degree or five (5) + years of safety management experience.
Certifications according to local contract requirements.
Knowledge of all applicable safety rules, regulations - FTA, FMCSA, and DOT.
Knowledge of regulations, corporate safety programs, and policies.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Familiar with Windows-based computer operating systems and Microsoft Office packages.
