High School Diploma or equivalet from an accredited institution.

Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.

Experience using various tools, including Manual/electric/pneumatic tools, drill press, press brake, fork truck, jib crane, template/fixtures, hand carts, measuring and testing equipment, storage/packaging materials, and prescribed safety equipment.

1 or more years of manufacturing, production, construction, industrial, or military experience OR a degree in a technical discipline.

Forklift driver certification.

1 or more years of experience with supply chain systems (AS400, MAPICS).

1 or more years of experience in electrical equipment manufacturing and assembly (panelboards/switchboards preferred).

1 or more years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance or installation.

$18.00 - $28.90 per hour

Experience with fiber optic fusion splicing and testing.

Proficiency using OTDR, OLTS, and other fiber testing equipment.

Ability to read and interpret fiber schematics and construction drawings.

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Ability to accurately identify and distinguish fiber color codes.

Experience in data center, hyperscale, or outside plant (OSP) environments.

Experience with high-count fiber cables and large-scale fiber deployments.

Relevant telecommunications, fiber, or safety certifications.
