Candidates must possess a High school Diploma or GED
2 years of non-generating nuclear power facility (e.g. Navy Nuclear training/experience or experience at a DOE facility)
A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related science program
43 credit hours of post-secondary education of which 75% (at least 8 courses or 32 hours) is advanced math, physics, chemistry and/or engineering/engineering technology.
1 year Power Plant Experience, which includes any of the following: work performed in fossil-fueled or nuclear-fueled electric power production plants during preoperational, startup testing or operational activities. Experience in petrochemical similar process plants or steam propulsion plant design, construction, technical support, operation, maintenance, or training instruction.
