High School Diploma or GED
Trade School or Apprenticeship Program preferred or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Metalworking CNC Environment
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively to co-workers through Verbal and written communications as well as other employees of the organization
Language Skills: Ability to draft Work Instructions Using Microsoft Word
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate Machine Offsets using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Mathematical Skills: A good understanding of Geometry and the ability to calculate angles
Mathematical Skills: Ability to Calculate Feeds and Speeds as they relate to the Material being cut
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems as well as Complex Fixturing problems
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense when using equipment and making decisions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and 70 pounds with assistance
