Prior experience

HS Dip/GED

Finger strength and dexterity a must!

Lifting, bending, standing for shift.

Must be able to do basic math and read tape measure.

Steel Toe Boots required.

Day shift

Minimum of 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience in a fabrication or processing shop environment

Working understanding of Tekla / PowerFab (P2) equipment software, with the ability to train others

Demonstrated knowledge of structural fabrication and processing equipment capabilities

OSHA 10 certification

Prolonged walking, standing, sitting, bending, squatting, stooping, climbing, reaching, grasping, and pushing/pulling

Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Work in various weather conditions and temperatures

Climb stepladders, extension ladders, and stairs, and work from a raised platform

Operate tools and processing equipment properly and safely

Maintain regular mental and visual attention with manual coordination

Regularly use hands and fingers to assemble, connect, or operate processing equipment

5-10 years of experience in fabrication/processing, overseeing 5-15 operators, helpers, and/or apprentices

Working knowledge of lean manufacturing/management practices (5S, standard work, visual management, waste reduction, kaizen), with a track record of driving measurable improvement on the floor

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

OSHA 30 certification, or in progress per company plan
