Completion of 2-year technical degree or equivalent equipment service experience
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment, such as Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC), Refrigeration, Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Plumbing & Piping
Working knowledge of Facilities low and medium voltage electrical equipment (including substations, switches, cable, starters, variable-frequency drives, motor control center, breakers, bus duct) and Building Management Systems
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems including control circuits up to medium voltage (4160 V) motors and contactors
Environmental Protection Agency 608 certification
15kV high voltage electrical experience
Minimum computer (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Facilities related computer systems skills (i.e. Maximo, EcoStruxure Building Operation, Novar, Simplex, Siemens, Powerlogic, etc.
Comply with Honda Health and Safety Policies
Willingness to work weekends, all shifts, overtime, and shutdowns as required.
Complete the required Equipment Service Technical Development Program consisting of approximately 700 hours of classwork and hands-on training over a 4-year period. Either actively in or already completed.
Demonstrate regional competencies for Non-Exempt Career Level 2 for Equipment Service Team Leader.
