Role is office-based with flexibility to work up to 12 days from home per year within reasonable commuting distance of the Cleveland, OH office.

This role is not remote/ hybrid.

Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst/Engineer or related role where required experience gained.

Five (5) years of Information Technology

Five (5) years of work experience in the area of Software Quality Assurance

Four (4) years in automation tools and technologies using Java, Selenium Webdriver, TestNg or equivalent testing tools

Three (3) years working with test management tools with HP ALM, or JIRA

Testing software manually; including but not limited to experience-based, context, exploratory, and scenario testing

Applying testing skills: test plan and test case formulation, report creation, defect tracking, business requirement/system specification analysis

Demonstrated knowledge and experience using various testing methodologies such as unit testing, regression testing, smoke testing, and user acceptance testing

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

Must be eighteen years or older

Oversee and delegate work to QA Associates and Professional Apprentices, as needed.

Mentor and train Developers, QA Associates and other team members on best practices and industry standards.

Take on a lead role for the QA effort which includes, but is not limited to: creating test plans, writing test cases, performing functional and exploratory testing, effectively communicating statuses, and coordinating meetings.

Manage the requests of customers for the creation of manual and automated testing.

Work with cross functional team members to define and understand functional & non- functional requirements and capture business requirements through behavior driven test scripts.

Manage and maintain efficiencies in the automated script execution and script development through the implementation of automation best practices.

Develop and maintain the suite of automated functional tests supporting code releases.

Support the PSG implementations and testing activities with the automation and execution of key business processes.

Conduct research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks.

Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Biochemistry or Chemistry

Plus two (2) years of experience in a related position

Two (2) years with each of the following: (i) preparing and applying liquid coating products utilizing spectrophotometers, including Xrite MA68, Xrite MA98, BYKMAC1, and MacBeth coloreye for color measurements; (ii) product development and quality control by performing paint sample tests, operating lab equipment, and troubleshooting issues; (iii) maintaining laboratory instruments; and (iv) preparing tests solutions and compounds pre reagents to conduct tests

Must have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) panel testing techniques, including Tukon hardness, Pencil hardness, Cross Hatch Adhesion, Pop & Sag evaluation, destructive testing, impact testing, and crater testing; (ii) GMP/GLP requirements, safety requirements, test methods, and SOPs; (iii) QC tool data lookup or similar; (iv) continuous improvement techniques including formula optimization process and problem solving process; and (v) continuous improvement events including Kaizen workshops

This is a first shift position with hours from 7am-3:30pm

High school diploma or equivalent

Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English

One year related manufacturing experience preferred

Must be able to read and comprehend documents that define the use of test equipment

One year experience in receiving of in-bound products preferred

Understanding material specifications (ex. - ASME, ASTM)

Familiarity with ISO Quality Management Systems preferred

Working knowledge of calibration tools and inspection equipment preferred

Basic geometric dimension and tolerance experience preferred

Demonstrated attention to detail, perseverance and trouble shooting

Ability to understand technical specifications

Proficient in MS Office products and Adobe Acrobat preferred

Ability to work and multi-task with limited supervision

5+ years of manufacturing experience in a machining environment.

3+ years of production or floor leadership experience.

Strong working knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and setups.

Experience in high-mix / high-volume or fast-paced manufacturing.

Proven ability to lead teams and hold accountability on the shop floor.

Comfortable using production metrics and data to drive decisions.

Knowledge of ISO and TS standards and systems

Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
