Experience in multiple welding disciplines, including TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW) and mechanized welding

3+ years in a training, instructing or teaching role focused on entry-level individual contributors

At least 1 year welding in a production environment

Proven ability to train people from entry level to mid level to weld to a written standard

Comfort working with software to record training, evaluations and qualifications

Experience maintaining training documentation to an audit-ready standard

Willingness to travel around 25%, primarily to our Los Angeles facility for training purposes

To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Experience welding or training to NAVSEA standards

Experience with robotic welding; this can be learned and trained in role

Welding certifications such as AWS Certified Welder, Certified Welding Educator or Certified Welding Inspector

Experience building welding curriculum or training documentation from the ground up
