Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of hands-on experience: * in platform hardware design, including PCB development, component specification, and system-level integration. * in PCB design tools and schematic capture software. * with BOM cost analysis and design tradeoffs at the board and system levels. * debugging and resolving hardware issues during system bring-up and power-on activities.

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of professional experience.

Knowledge of hardware verification methods and validation processes.

Experience in thermal solutions, materials testing, or packaging design for electronic hardware.

$90,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience

Full-Time

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, from an accredited college or university.

Minimum five years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of quality management systems and applicable standards/regulations, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 21 CFR Part 820, as applicable.

Experience with statistical process control, process capability, measurement systems, risk-based thinking and data-driven quality improvement.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to work effectively with ERP, quality systems and digital reporting tools.

Successful completion of the pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol testing and criminal background investigation is required following an offer of employment.

This position requires access to information subject to ITAR, EAR and NRC requirements. Applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by 22 CFR 120.15.

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is desirable but not required.

The salary range for this position is capped at GS-15, step 05 which is currently equivalent to the following locations: Norfolk, VA: $170,164; Mechanicsburg, PA: $171,067; San Diego, CA: $191,535 & Washington Navy Yard, DC: $191,850.
