The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour

This position is full-time.

Any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours at Frick Hospital or variable shifts at the ED, which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

High School Diploma/GED

1+ years of experience working in a customer service environment OR working in a professional/military setting using a computer and telephone

Ability to work occasional overtime, weekends or holidays as needed

Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours at Frick Hospital or variable shifts at the ED, which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Standing for long periods of time (10 to 12 hours) while using a workstation on wheels and phone/headset

Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.

Experience with Microsoft Office products

Experience in a Hospital Patient Registration Department, Physician office or any medical setting

Experience in insurance reimbursement and financial verification

Experience in requesting and processing financial payments

Working knowledge of medical terminology

Understanding of insurance policies and procedures

Ability to perform basic mathematics for financial payments
