High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of facilities, maintenance, wastewater, or related industrial experience.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
Solid knowledge of facility maintenance and repair practices, including carpentry, plumbing, furniture systems, and general building maintenance.
Solid knowledge of Industrial Wastewater Treatment System (IWTS) operations and safe operating procedures.
Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including pH monitoring, sampling techniques, chemical handling, and process control.
Basic knowledge of pumps, valves, piping systems, filter presses, and related mechanical equipment.
Solid knowledge of workplace safety practices, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Basic knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting practices applicable to industrial wastewater systems.
Basic knowledge of health and safety requirements related to chemical storage, handling, and disposal.
Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic concepts including volts, amps, pressure, flow rates, and equipment operation.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Basic computer skills and recordkeeping experience.
