AutoCAD drafting experience within a related industry such as construction, building design, or structural detailing.
Ability to create detailed 2D drawings and convert customer drawings into clear, buildable plans.
Understanding of structural loads and connections, including the ability to review decking design drawings and connection details.
Familiarity with design approval processes and experience working with clients or fabrication plants through approval cycles.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to adjust quickly to changing priorities and day-to-day tasks while maintaining collaboration with team members.
Comfort with being held accountable to metrics, results, and the accuracy and quality of drawings.
Goal-oriented and deadline-driven mindset, with a strong focus on meeting project deadlines.

Experience with joist and/or decking design in a structural steel environment.
Any prior experience working with structural steel joist and deck systems.
