Millwright - Swing Shift

Swing Shift: Monday-Thursday / 4 x 10 (2:00 pm to 12:30 am)

This is a full time position

Basic computer skills.

Demonstrated ability to follow all established safe work procedures including, but not limited to personal protection equipment, safety lockout/tag-out, confined space, and elevated work areas.

Use all required hand and power tools including, but not limited to: drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, high lift, and other maintenance equipment.

Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.

Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.

Must have four years' **Millwright experience, with preferred electrical knowledge, or licensing**.

Requires working knowledge of blueprints, technical part manuals and their application. This may include electrical and mechanical diagrams, gages, meters, calipers and other measuring tools.

U.S. person status is required for this position in order to comply with the Arms Export Control and Export Administration Act.

Experience in an industrial maintenance or millwright setting, with working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferred.

High School diploma or GED preferred

Preferred ability to trouble shoot and repair electrical installations and equipment effectively.

Preferred demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps.

High school graduate or GED

Valid driver's license

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs

This position requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing, and visual acuity

Must also be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasks

Recent experience outfitting and assembling vessels or similar systems

Experience in assembly having an aptitude to electrical, mechanical, and fabrication

Installing outboard and inboard motors

Installing waterjets, stern drives, and other similar propulsion systems

Installing marine electronics

Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge

ABYC certifications are a bonus
