5+ years of metrology experience, including programming CMMs.

Hands-on experience with at least three different types of metrology equipment (CNC CMM, portable CMM, laser tracker, large-volume or automated 3D scanners, optical comparator, etc.).

Proficiency with CMM software

PC-DMIS, Verisurf, MCosmos, or equivalent acceptable with the ability to learn PolyWorks and Calypso quickly

Excellent understanding of GD&T; (ASME Y14.5).

Experience designing and building holding fixtures for CMMs.

Proficiency with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, height gauges, and other hand tools).

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Associate's degree or technical training.

Experience with advanced or specialized inspection methods, including NDT.

Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 17025 quality systems.
