1-2 years 2+ years of medical office experience

ARRT ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required

American Board of Radiology - ABR Radiology Technologist license in the State of Maryland required

Computers and electronic medical record skills and ability to function in a variable multi-specialty clinical setting.

Associate's degree preferred

Completion of an approved M.A. program preferred

Experience working with electronic medical records preferred

* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA In addition to ARRT a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) by American Association of Medical Assistants preferred or * Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)-American Medical Technologists RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) through American Medical Technologies preferred

CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required

Clinical competency as verified during the initial 90 day orientation period and annually thereafter.
