Use CDM/Recyclers to assist members in transactions
Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compare totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen
Explain, promote and sell products or services that will benefit the member
FLSA: Non-exempt
Research and resolve member inquiries
Order daily supply of cash, and count incoming cash
Complete transactions for money orders, cash advances, gift cards, savings bonds, cashiers checks, verifications, and loan payments when necessary
Verify amount and examine checks for endorsements
Member Service Associate (MSA) 1 and 2
Cash checks and complete withdrawals and pays out money after verification of signatures and member balances
Receive checks and cash for deposit in person, via mail or by night deposit
Receive and pay out money, and keep records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions
Enter members' transactions into computer to record transactions and issue computer generated receipts
Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of business and guide visitors to appropriate personnel or help them directly
Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds
Assist other departments and areas as needed (i.e. filing, scanning, phones, etc.)

Possess a basic understanding and working knowledge of microbiology and epidemiology.
RN required
Understand or be willing to learn computer programs and applications necessary for data collection and analysis.
A 12-month extension is allowed from the date of the first exam.
A part time employed incumbent is required to sit for the exam within 48 months from date of hire.
If a licensed registered nurse (RN), currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
At the end of the 12 months, if certification has not been obtained, an action plan will be devised by leadership in consultation with human resources.
If working in an Acute setting, Board of Certification in Infection Control, Inc. (CBIC) is required.
The Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy. An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.
If certification is not obtained at the time of hire, a full time employed incumbent is required to sit for the exam within 36 months from date of hire.
If working in a Post-Acute setting, completion of an approved Infection Prevention course by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is required.
