Reading production tags
Stitch and assemble durable firefighter boots with precision using industrial machines
Follow detailed patterns and specifications to ensure high-quality stitching of leather, rubber, and specialty materials
Set up and maintain stitching equipment, troubleshoot machine issues, and ensure seamless operation
Perform quality inspections to ensure all boots meet safety and durability standards
Good manual dexterity skills
Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets while maintaining safety and quality standards
Prior experience stitching leather footwear ideal for this role
Utilize a variety of industrial single needle, double needle, and programmable machines to stitch leather footwear
May be required to support their departmental team by learning at least two additional operations - Prep, seam seal, bagging, inspection, finishing
Ability to sit and stand for 8-9 hours a day, with some reaching, bending and stopping required
