High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of previous quality control experience.
Strong dimensional inspection skills using calipers, micrometers, snap gauges, torque tools, vision systems, optical comparators, OGP Smart systems, and other inspection and measurement tools.
Ability to perform visual and dimensional testing, including leak, stress, and punch/pull tests using Instron equipment, micrometers, and calipers.
Experience with incoming inspection processes for raw materials and components.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, product specifications, and procedures.
Proficiency in using metrology and other testing equipment for quality inspections.
Experience generating and working with non-conformance reports (NCMRs) and handling non-conforming materials.
Experience with Device History Records (DHRs) and the complete work order process from start to finish.
Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access.
Ability to use ERP or quality documentation systems for recording inspections and maintaining records.
Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to work overtime on Fridays when required.
Experience working in medical device, cleanroom, or similarly regulated environments.
Familiarity with pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical testing as part of quality inspections.
Understanding of and adherence to QSR, ISO, GMP, and GDP requirements in daily work.
