Must have a thorough knowledge of emergency medical technician (EMT) principles, practices and techniques, knowledge of how various equipment such as a monitor or defibrillator work and how to troubleshoot problems that may arise.
Be able to apply and use a LUCAS device.
May not be required for those in a Hospital setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical equipment/supplies
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and depending upon location, national registry status as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level may be required.
All driving policies, driving assignments, and insurance verification, etc. is all determined by the department leader and needs within the department and staffing.
National Incident Management System (NIMS) ICS100, 200, and 700 completed, and continuing education hours as mandated by accreditation.
Completion of an accredited Training Program required for licensing.
Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a good driving record.
Must be 18 years or older, approval needed for those under 21 to drive.
Physical activities include, but not limited to, considerable use of arms and legs and moving of whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials.
An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.

One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
