College or ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification a plus

Experience working in FAA environment

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

3+ years of hands-on machine shop inspection experience required.

Knowledge and experience within the field of Quality (ISO, Gage Calibration, Metrology, GD&T;).

Ability to use inspection equipment; such as: Surface Plate, Height Gage, Comparator, Hand tools, Attribute gages, etc.

Ability to perform detailed review of documentation/certification to requirements.

Ability to read and interpret blue prints.

Liquid Penetrant Examination experience

Experience with Keyence measuring equipment

1+ years of using precise measurement equipment including, but not limited to Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, Height gauges, surface plates, Optical comparators, Thread gauges, plug gauges, Surface roughness testers

ASQ certification (CQI)

Experience with FAI (AS9102) strongly preferred

Strong understanding of: GD &T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

Strong understanding of: Aerospace quality standards (AS9100, AS9102)

Proficiency with: CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)

Proficiency with: Inspection tools (manual and digital)

Knowledge of: Machining processes (CNC milling, turning, grinding)

Knowledge of: Materials used in aerospace (aluminum, titanium, Inconel, etc.)

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to read complex blueprints and specs
