Must be experienced in operating CNC machines or machining centers.
Must be able to perform inspection of parts by using various types of measuring equipment.
The employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places, and risk of shock.
The employee is occasionally exposed to heat, cold and wet, humid conditions.
3 -10 years' experience in machining required.
Must be able to set up machines, troubleshoot set-ups, and troubleshoot programs.

The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
The employee must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to read blueprints.
Must understand G-code and M-code programs.

Ability to use shop mathematics, work with fairly complicated drawings, and good troublshooting ability
Competencies: Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps.
Previous CNC experience required
High school diploma and one to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Will be required to pass the eligibility test provided by Snap-on
Ability to read and interpret part diagrams
