$175,000 to $235,000 per year, plus bonus (up to 30% of base)

Approximately 40% travel required to support logistics operations across company sites and affiliated businesses.

Full time

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance or a related discipline

10 or more years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, supply chain or related operations leadership

At least 7 years of senior leadership experience within a multi-site industrial, manufacturing, mining, steel, construction-products or similarly complex operating environment

Experience managing both company-operated fleet activities and third-party transportation providers

Strong working knowledge of truckload, less-than-truckload, dedicated fleet, rail, intermodal, freight forwarding, expedited transportation, warehousing and distribution operations

Demonstrated success negotiating major transportation, carrier, warehouse, brokerage and third-party logistics agreements

Strong financial acumen, including logistics budgets, forecasts, cost models, capital investments and cost-to-serve analysis

Proven use of data and KPI discipline (including pivot tables) to improve safety, service, productivity, cost and asset utilization

Familiarity with transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, fleet-management platforms, telematics, ERP systems and business-intelligence tools

Ability to define and redefine logistics processes across multiple businesses, facilities and regions

Willingness to be based in or spend significant time in Pittsburgh, PA

Ability to travel approximately 40%

MBA, master's degree or other advanced business, technical or supply-chain degree

Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP, ASCM CLTD, Certified Transportation Professional or comparable credentials

Global logistics experience, including international transportation, freight forwarding, customs and import/export activities

Experience leading enterprise transformation, process standardization, technology implementation or acquisition integration

Experience designing or optimizing distribution networks, transportation lanes, fleet structures and warehouse footprints
