Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology, Apprenticeship Training or OJT (on the job training).
Toolmaker level 1-6 = 1-7 years experience, Senior Toolmaker 1-4 = 8 plus years experience.
Basic machine shop operation, Basic knowledge of tooling design and function.
Overhead crane and forklift operation.
Ability to work with large tonnage injection molds and progressive stamping dies.
Frequently required to stand; use hands to handle and reach.
Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
