Associate degree in a medical laboratory technology, medical laboratory science or clinical laboratory science with four (4) years of laboratory training or experience, or both in nonwaived testing, in the designated specialty/sub-specialty area OR * Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological science (transcripts will be reviewed to determine eligibility) with two (2) years of laboratory training or experience, or both in nonwaived testing, in the designated specialty/sub-specialty area.

Foreign educated candidates must provide a detailed credential evaluation from IERF (International Education Research Foundation) or other nationally recognized credentialing agency for review to determine eligibility.

For certain specialty disciplines ONLY (Toxicology, HLA, HCTT, etc.) where no certification is available from a certifying agency, a bachelor's degree with two (2) years of experience in that discipline is required.

Bachelor's Degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology, OR * Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological science (transcripts may be reviewed to determine eligibility) AND certification (MLS or categorical).

Two (2) years' experience in nonwaived testing in the designated specialty/sub-specialty area.

For certain specialty disciplines ONLY (Toxicology, HLA, HCTT, etc.) where no certification is available from a certifying agency, a bachelor's degree with four (4) years of experience in that discipline is required.

Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently.

Use material handling equipment to push/and or pull up to 75 pounds and required to lift, push and/or pull up to 25 pounds.

Requires manual dexterity.

Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and body fluids, chemical, electrical and biological hazards.

Ability to distinguish colors

Requires use of personal computer, printers, copiers, telephone, fax and department specific equipment.

Basic computer skills.

Passing on-site competency evaluation and /or assessment as defined by the department.

Additional related education and/or experience.

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.

0–2 years of automotive experience in a shop environment, or equivalent technical training, performing maintenance and basic repairs.

Ability to follow written procedures, torque specifications, and safety standards.

Basic proficiency with shop technology, including Digital Vehicle Inspection/Multi-Point Inspection tools, scan tools for code retrieval, and computerized systems for documentation.

Ability to possess and utilize basic tools required to perform the functions of the role successfully.

Valid driver's license

Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.

Ability to stand up to eight hours per day and walk to access various areas of the building.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly, with full range of motion in arms and hands.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds frequently.

Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and refocus; use of safety goggles or other PPE as required.

State Inspector License, in applicable locations, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire if required by the store.

Technical or vocational school training.

ASE certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Brake service and/or alignment experience, where applicable.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Education or experience consistent with an Associate's degree in healthcare or a related field.

Minimum of three (3) years' of Phlebotomy experience.

Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

Advanced computer skills.

Working knowledge of regulatory, accrediting, and compliance requirements.

Must possess a valid driver's license

IOP placement requires execution of "Confidential Information and Restrictive Covenant Agreement".

Placement in Mobile/Long Term Care department requires ADHS Fingerprinting Certification or the ability to obtain fingerprinting certification.

Possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs.

Needs adequate hearing and visual acuity, including adequate color vision.

Requires fine motor skills, adequate eye-hand coordination, and ability to grasp and handle objects.

Able to use proper body mechanics to assist patients in ambulating, transferring in and out of bed, chair or wheelchair.

May be required to lift up to 75 pounds.

May require periodic use of personal computer.

Experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Work Flow a plus.

National Phlebotomy Certification.
