Counselors spend almost all day on their feet. This position is a physically-intensive job requiring lifting, bending, carrying and repetitive motions, cleaning (scrubbing walls, fences, cabins, etc.)

Must be able to physically handle all sizes of the dogs we take at Camp Bow Wow

Must have a high tolerance for barking and excessive noise

Periodic exposure to jumping dogs and dog altercations

Must have a high tolerance for dog hair, dander, smell

High school experience or equivalent

Reliable transportation

No previous dog experience necessary but is helpful and preferred

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

$15 per hour

Opportunity to earn up to $300 in certification incentives in your first month of servicing by reaching the milestones below:

Completing certification and servicing at least 10 hours in Week 1: $50

Servicing at least 10 hours in Week 2: $50

Servicing at least 30 hours per week in Weeks 3 and 4: $200

Flexible scheduling

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.

A minimum of 20 hours per week

Certification runs for 10 days, Monday-Friday, from 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM ET

You'll need a quiet, dedicated workspace

Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please)

A PC with Windows 11 (Macs and Chromebooks are not supported at this time)

At least 8GB of RAM, with at least 4GB available for use

A processor capable of reliably running all required software and programs simultaneously

Up-to-date antivirus software

Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1024 x 768 pixels

A USB noise-cancelling headset

A webcam for your Certification experience

A smart phone to facilitate dual-factor authentication

Each independent contractor services a minimum of 20 hours per week

At least one year of experience in a call center customer service environment is preferred

Medical office, pharmacy, or non-clinical medical experience is very helpful
