Minimum High School diploma/GED
5 years electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment including the reading and interpretation of detailed electronic drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Must have prior hand soldering experience
Must be willing to receive and provide cross training in all assemblies.
Availability for overtime Monday through Saturday when required.
Candidate must possess "U.S. Person" status for access to ITAR controlled technical data.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language at a level that allows for the comprehension of detailed work and safety instructions and the legible completion of paperwork and communication with co-workers and management.
Must have good vision (corrected vision is acceptable) to perform visual inspection of product quality and to identify defects.
Must be able to distinguish colors.
Must possess good manual dexterity to effectively use basic hand tools and equipment.
Experienced with some power tools (power drills, sanders, etc.)
Solid understanding of mechanical hardware (nuts, bolts, screws, etc.) assembly.
Solid understanding of blueprints, Bill of Materials and mechanical drawings,
Must have basic computer skills and ability to learn how to use ERP system for job tracking.
Requires ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
