Read blueprints, schematics and work orders to understand design requirements, layouts, dimensions and welding requirements.
Measure, cut, bend and shape metal components and assemblies according to technical plans.
Join parts using welding, soldering, riveting or fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and fit
Operate various welding machines (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc) and hand power tools.
Inspect finished products for accuracy, functionality and adherence to specifications.
Position can be physically demanding requiring ability to lift 50 pounds, ability to work in various positions (flat, vertical and overhead) and reach overhead frequently
Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Word, & excel)
