High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have basic math skills including binary operations (+-/*) and decimal/fraction conversions
Must be able to read and record measurements with precision and accuracy; identify and utilize detailed part names, numbers, and critical characteristics
Must have ability to learn/use a variety of measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, inside/outside micrometers, verniers, pin gauges, height gauges, radius gauges, protractors, and dial indicators, optical comparators and coordinate measuring machines
Must be able to follow written and/ or verbal instructions with manual or electronic reporting of results
Must be able to learn, comply, communicate and report compliance or deviation to processes and product quality standards
Must have ability to complete work under minimal supervision
Must be able to work in various production areas including, but not limited to, receiving, warehouse, quality control, assembly/fabrication, rotational molding and injection molding
Must be able to communicate and interact effectively and cooperatively both verbally and in writing with vendors, contractors and employees at all levels of the organization
