This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Materials Science, Ceramics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5 years of experience as a Thermo Shock Protection Manufacturing Engineer or in an occupation involving process improvements in manufacturing and development.
(1) Ceramic coatings, kilns, or slurry-based manufacturing processes;
(2) TS/ISO/IA TF quality management systems;
(3) Equipment procurement, validation, and release testing;
(4) Statistical analysis, process optimization, and quality improvement methodologies;
(5) Process engineering in manufacturing and development;
(6) Statistical analysis, DOE, SPC, and process optimization.
Travel Requirements: 10% International and domestic travel.
