Assembler - Manufacturing
2nd Shift 2:00 pm - 10:25 pm
3rd Shift 10:00 pm - 6:20 am
The noise level is such that earplugs must be worn at all times. Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times (ex. hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe shoes). Safety equipment is provided by the Company with exception of steel toe shoes, which must be provided by employee upon the first day of employment.
Overtime: Employees must be willing and available to work weekends on an on-going basis if needed.
It is mandatory for junior employees (if senior employees refuse) to work overtime.
Overtime will paid for all hours worked in excess of forty hours in any one week.
Must be willing to work in excess of 8 hours in one shift.
Shifts: 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift
Must report immediately to his/her Supervisor any injury, unsafe act or condition, or any failure or impending failure of plant equipment.
Must maintain work area in neat and clean condition and assure that materials and tools are returned to proper storage and all waste and debris are removed upon completion of assigned work.
Must know and follow at all times proper safety procedures
Ability to operate, monitor and inspect assembly machines, tools, dip tanks, paint lines, impregnants, and other related equipment
Ability to inspect castings visually and dimensionally (through the use of precision measuring instruments, gauges, and other equipment), perform necessary tests and random audits, calculate and record findings by manual and electronic means
Ability to operate associated grinding equipment, conveying equipment, cleaning, pressing, buffing, and associated machines and equipment
Ability to operate qualifying equipment and inspect and sort castings
Ability to report neatly and accurately work performed, findings or results of inspections, and time and materials used in completion of assigned work
Must be able to lift and move items as part of production activities
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with manufacturing equipment and processes
