Minimum 2 years of related experience
High School or Trade School diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot problems
Ability to interpret mechanical blueprint specifications (metric/imperial) with a general understanding of fit, geometric tolerancing, thread classifications, and metal finishing
Knowledge and proficiency with various metrology tools, equipment, and inspection methods, such as a CMM, Vision Systems, Comparators, and Gauges
Knowledge to operate a CMM and program Vision System equipment
Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office and ERP software
Ability to work independently within a team environment
Ability to prioritize workload and make educated quality decisions
High attention to detail with excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to wear appropriate clothing and personal protective equipment such as but not limited to masks, glasses, gloves, and specialty garments
Experience: Machine shop experience a plus

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
A valid driver's license is required.
At least 5 years of experience in job duties.
Experience with troubleshooting/repairing DPF systems diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, CAT, Peterbilt, and Paccar.
Working knowledge of applicable DOT and OSHA standards and regulations.
Must be able to speak and read English well enough to converse with colleagues, drivers and dispatch, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records.
Must be able to meet the physical and safety requirements of the position.
Must be able to provide own tools.
The Yellow Iron Diesel Technician/Mechanic may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent squatting and standing is required.
