High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 710 years of progressive experience in diesel mechanics and heavy equipment maintenance, including at least 35 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role within a shop or fleet maintenance environment.
Demonstrated experience overseeing teams, managing workflow, and aligning shop operations with business priorities.
Strong hands-on mechanical experience with the ability and willingness to personally perform diagnostics, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment and diesel trucks as needed.
Deep knowledge of heavy equipment systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and shop management software.
Experience managing maintenance schedules, parts procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships.
Valid drivers license
A clean driving record.
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, weekends, or respond to operational needs when required.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
This position requires the ability to stand, walk and lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs. or more for extended periods.
Candidates must have sufficient physical strength, visual and auditory acuity, and precise hand-eye coordination for handling tools, equipment, and small components during repairs and maintenance tasks.
