Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases
Up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
Must have a valid driver's license
Have means of transportation, to assist participants in their homes or other settings.
Must clear the background check.
Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant curriculum
A active PTA license in Kentucky.
Minimum of one-year experience working with a frail or elderly population required
Good working knowledge of physical, psychosocial and behavioral needs of the older population.
Working knowledge of practice boundaries for Physical Therapist and Physical Therapy Assistant (P.T.A.).
Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
