4+ years of hands-on grinding experience (OD, ID, or centerless) in a precision manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of grinding wheel selection, composition, and dressing techniques
Ability to perform independent grind setups
Experience working to tight tolerances in aerospace or high-precision environments
Solid understanding of shop math and GD&T;
Continual standing
Frequent mental and visual attention
Frequent bending, twisting, and grasping tools/materials
Occasional (15-40%) lifting and moving of materials up to 50 lbs
