U.S. Customs and Border Protection

Must have had primary U.S. residency for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years
Must be referred for selection to the Customs and Border Protection Officer position before reaching their 40th birthday
U.S. Citizenship
A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level
Experience in enforcing laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping
Experience in utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats and perform risk assessments
Experience in detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using proper law enforcement methods
Experience in conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity

Strong programming background such as Python, C++, PLC, robot programming
Ability to use a PC and Microsoft Office applications at a high level
Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Valid passport/capability to obtain one
2+ years automation and/or robotics experience
