2 or more years of industrial electrical/electronic maintenance experience; OR 2 or more years of formal electrical/electronic, industrial controls, or related technical education/training; OR an equivalent combination of at least one year of relevant training and one year of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Knowledge of PLC inputs, outputs, internal bits, timers, counters, latching/unlatching instructions, scan cycles, and PID control loops.
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, ladder-logic diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
Working knowledge of industrial electrical fundamentals, including Ohm's Law, two-wire control circuits, motor starters, overload protection, fuses, relays, contactors, and three-phase power.
Experience safely using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment, such as digital multimeters and insulation-resistance testers.
Experience working with 480-volt, three-phase electrical systems, including motor rotation and safe voltage-verification practices.
Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment, electronic controls, motors, and automated manufacturing systems.
Must be willing and able to work any assigned shift, including second or third shift, variable workweeks, weekends, holidays, and overtime as operationally required.
Must successfully complete a written and/or practical, job-related skills assessment as part of the selection process.
