Employees must be willing to work in excess of 8 hours in one shift

2nd Shift 2:00 pm - 10:25 pm
Maintain work area in neat and clean condition and assure that materials and tools are returned to proper storage
Operate all necessary moving, hauling and storing equipment

Pack, inspect, prepare for shipment/transfer all products and/or material as necessary
All responsibilities related to safety procedures and wearing prescribed safety equipment
3rd Shift 10:00 pm - 6:20 am
It is mandatory for junior employees (if senior employees refuse) to work overtime
Operate, monitor and inspect assembly machines, tools, dip tanks, paint lines, impregnators, and other related equipment to produce a finished product
Inspect castings visually and dimensionally (through the use of precision measuring instruments, gauges, and other equipment), perform necessary tests and random audits, calculate and record findings by manual and electronic means
Actively participate in SRP, VPDS, and any other Company initiative designed to improve workplace efficiency, eliminate waste, and improve quality
The noise level is such that earplugs must be worn at all times
Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times (ex. hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe shoes). Safety equipment is provided by the Company with exception of steel toe shoes, which must be provided by employee upon the first day of employment
Overtime: Employees must be willing and available to work weekends on an on-going basis if needed
Must be able to perform duties related to transferring, cleaning, painting (including plant equipment, guard rails, floor lines, storage racks, conveyors, production offices, locker rooms, rest rooms, and related equipment within the production areas), removing, sweeping, shoveling, inside or outside, of facilities as determined by Supervision
