Must be able to effectively maintain and troubleshoot classroom AV and computer systems and be familiar with hybrid and online teaching modalities.

A broad knowledge of audio and video production equipment operation and distribution is essential as well as working knowledge of computer applications (including Microsoft Office and web-based applications).

Good knowledge of Extron Electronics products and control systems

Understanding of developing trends in presentation and media distribution technologies.

Familiarity with commonly used artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms, including but not limited to generative AI assistants, AI-powered productivity features within standard enterprise applications (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot), and AI-enhanced support and automation tools.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent

7+ years of relevant experience in safety-critical industries (e.g., aerospace, defense/military, medical, nuclear, etc.)

Demonstrated proficiency with electromechanical and/or embedded software systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Experience with requirements management, system design, and system integration

Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline

Experience with RF systems, sensor data processing, position estimation, and/or tracking

Experience with Eurocontrol, FAA, or other air traffic procedures, operations, and systems

Experience with Linux in embedded and/or server systems

Experience with networked computer systems, cybersecurity, and/or system hardening

Experience with MATLAB programming and data analysis skills
