Journeyman ticket relevant to machining (general machinist, tool and die maker, ETC)
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
ITAR: All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
2-3 years machining experience
Extensive experience working with Lathes and mills
Competent with manufacturing and repairing components to tight tolerances
Competent with the use of measuring equipment and accurate to tight tolerance
Competent with the selection and use of tooling while operating machines
Extensive machine set up experience, fixturing and workholding
Knowledge of manual machines is a preferred asset but not required
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing drawings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client group
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team
Proficient in relevant PC skills
Ability to produce clear, timely, and concise documentation
Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment, work ethic, and integrity
