Ability to read and write English.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, process sheets, and basic manufacturing prints.
Intermediate knowledge of print reading and inspection processes.
Intermediate ability to use and interpret measuring equipment, including:
Basic understanding of shop mathematics.
Basic understanding of grinding, thread/form rolling, fillet rolling, or other assigned manufacturing processes.
Basic familiarity with machine tooling and equipment.
Ability to perform basic machine setups and adjustments.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing materials and their characteristics.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, Leads, Supervisors, Managers, and others.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to become certified to operate a forklift and overhead crane, as required.
Ability to wear a respirator and all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to government/military contracts.
High school diploma or GED required.
Typically 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, prior military experience, or a technical certification/degree.
Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery preferred.
Experience with grinding, thread/form rolling, fillet rolling, or similar manufacturing processes preferred.
